The Turk’s expression changes again, his eyes gleaming mischievously. He could go about this two ways, really. He could try and be friends with the guy, which could work out in his favor…Or he could be sneaky about it. The other man looked like he at least knew how to fight, and judging by the way he was speaking it probably came with whatever job he had.

May as well play along for a while. He’d decide which route to take later.

“So ya are lost~! Why didn’t ya just say so, techie? Midgar’s a damn big place, yanno. If wanderin’ around is how you ‘learn and adapt’, yer gunna be wanderin’ for a week. Lemme help you out! Name’s Reno, yo.”

He holds out a thin hand, smirk still firmly in place.

“There is no way in hell you can get lost with an internal GPS…” Oh sweet denial. Yes there was. Adam knew there was a way to get lost using any type of GPS. If turned off for a short amount of time, it takes his GPL hours to reboot and recalculate his area before getting some type of idea of where he was.

When in time he was, was a different question. Adam HuD screens would always glow the date year of his own. Henceforth giving way to his denial.

Or well, slightly. This time he knew he was lost, he just wanted the brat to go away.

“Well then, Reno. It’s nice you want to give forth to civic duty and help someone, but I don’t want any. Piss off.”

Internal GPS? Is that what he said? Oh, now Reno really was curious. And determined. This guy had gear, and Reno wanted that gear. Not yet, though. It was too soon to get…pushy. The stranger was clearly on-edge about something, so it was best to tread lightly for a while longer.

The Turk lets his hand fall back to his side and looks a little crestfallen, his lower lip jutting out in a childish pout. Really, he should’ve won an award by now for all the acting he’d done in his life.

“Aw, c’mon, you don’t have t’be like that. It’s my job to help people out around town, so I’m jus’ doin’ my job. That ‘internal GPS’ thing must not be all that great if you ended up lost in a city ya don’t even know.”

Would insulting whatever fancy equipment he had rile him up? The redhead sure hoped so.

The redhead immediately dodges to the right, the first bullet grazing his shoulder as he draws and fires up his EMR.

It was clear to him that the remnant wasn’t at full strength. He’d barely made it out alive the last time they’d crossed paths, but still, he could use the other’s weakness to advantage. Loz was firing on him now, sure, but the guy was dense, not stupid. He’d have to back off after a few strong counter-attacks. Right?

I don’ remember these guys having much self-preservation instinct…Guess I’ll find out.

It was unlike Reno to start a fight with any of his so-called ‘signature’ moves, but he had to scare this guy off somehow. With a wave of his electrified weapon, he launched a densely-packed spack of electricity at his opponent. ’Turk Light.’

“Chew on that for a while, will ya—?!”

Now he just had to find some cover…

All he wanted was Reno to run, that was it. Get the Turk to head the opposite direction that so when he fled off to some hole in the wall to sleep and try to regain his strength he wouldn’t be followed. Why was that so damn hard? The Remnant let out two more shots before he realized something was happening, breath stuttering short as electrical current fried the oxygen away, and Loz choked some. The current running through his body making muscles lock up, and when they released? Loz let out an uncharacteristic noise.

The trademark roar of anger from the Demon of Wutai.

He crumpled first, face forward with enough back feed in his nerves to start a dubstep group. He was moving fast though, cells helplessly draining at his energy reserves to repair the working memory damage caused by the energy blast as locomotion washed over him. The black leopard like creature springing forward, obvious gouges left within the asphalt from the spikes of Dual Hound to help propel him forward. He was literally going to knock Reno flat out on his back if the Turk didn’t move—
He hated getting shocked with magic.

The Turk froze in place for a mere second as Loz cried out in fury. It didn’t scare him—nothing scared a Turk—but it made him sick to his stomach. Why, he didn’t know. What he did know was that this definitely wasn’t what he had intended to happen and that he needed to move. Fast. Now.

And move he did. Those long legs were put to good use as he dashed to the side again and leapt behind a pile of scrap. As the remnant rushed by him Reno came to a conclusion about his current situation.

As much as it bruised his ego to admit, he had to run. Even with his enemy weakened like he was, he still couldn’t battle the man one-on-one. The thought bothered him, but even he knew when it was time to swallow your pride and turn tail.

The last time he had tried to run from the brutish remnant didn’t end so well…Reno mentally crossed his fingers for a different outcome and took off in the blink of an eye down the closest alleyway.
